This form is a must have. Remember it's called an agreement & not a contract. You want the customer to agree to pay for your services & you MUST HAVE THEM SPECIFY THEM.
Without an agreement you are at the mercy of the customer to pay the verbally agreed amount & you open the door for them to complain about your services because they didn't specify what they wanted you to clean in writing. Customers assume you will clean EVERYTHING, maybe even the celings if you don't have them specify in writing what exactly they are paying for. I speak from experience; to my shock a new customer for a one time cleaning was upset that I didn't clean the ceiling of all places. I told her its not part of the services that is specified in our agreement and that she didn't pay for it. She had nothing else to say after that.
SOME TERMS IN THE AGREEEMENT:
- This agreement requires the customer to pay you in cash after the initial clenaing, before or right after. It is not recommended to take checks from a stranger. Many scams out there, protect yourself.
- Customers have to agree not to intice your employee's or make side deals with them. This happens more than you think.
- This agreement gives notice to your customers that they must voice any complains with 24 hours of the cleaning service.
- This agreement mentions the no refund policy, which al so protects you from customers who complain and won't let you go back and fix flaws in the service.
- You choose the state in which any court claims will be disputed in.
- Many more terms not mentioned here.
This is a general agreement, please have a lawyer draw up a contract if you need more protection. This is a basic agreement that lists the services with dates of the services & the fees you charge. The Customer agrees to the service & fees before you clean!
